Nisseth Grace
The word Nisseth comes from the Hebrew word that means "gift."
The name Nisseth Grace literally means gift of Grace. She is our third baby and a gracious gift from God after waiting for a long time.
She is also a miracle as she came at a time when her mother, Grace, was diagnosed to have lupus. It is a miracle that she did not have any complications nor did the mother had any relapse during the pregnancy and after giving birth.
We started the day with a feeling this was going to be a special day. We had plans to carry out chores for the day but God has a different plan. The baby was giving signals that it was ready to see the world.
We decided to go ahead with our plans but be ready for any definitive signs from the baby. At lunch time, the contractions are becoming regular and steonger. The Mom had that gut feeling this is it. So, instead of going to Manila, we changed plans and drove to Valenzuela. We were expecting heavy traffic, so I had to summon my "E" driving skills so we could get pass through traffic.
At the ACE Hospital by lunch.
At the ER, 6 cm and ready to go. So mom went straight to labor room.

Waiting makes you anxious. A lot of things comes to mind.
But trusting in God's plan can really give you peace of mind.
I was called into the delivery room. Wife was ready to give birth. The baby was crowning after just two contractions. At 4:40 PM, God gave us the Gift of Grace.
I cannot begin to describe the feeling. Third time but the joy and excitement and the thrill and the emotions still can't find the perfect words.
Gratitude. For God is faithful.
